Here’s what’s covered at no cost to you:

  • Website Build: The design and development of your website, which normally costs around £600, is completely free.
  • Hosting your website for one year, valued at approximately £200, is included at no extra charge. This ensures your site is live and running smoothly without additional costs for the first year.

What You Need to Pay For:

  • Domain Name: You’ll need to purchase your own domain name. This is important because the domain is your asset, and you will own it. Domain names typically cost between £10-£30 per year.
  • Optional Upgrades: If you want additional features or services beyond the initial offer, such as premium plugins or extended support, those will be discussed separately.

Why This Approach?

The domain is your property so by having you invest in your domain, you retain full ownership and control of your online presence, and we both ensure a fair and sustainable process.

Offering the website build and hosting for free allows me to support local businesses effectively. However, having you cover the cost of the domain aligns with the principle that giving something 100% free isn’t always practical. 

What to Expect

I’m here to give your business a great start online with a solid, no-frills website. Here’s what’s included:

Standard Pages

Your website will have four main pages

  • Home Page: Your business’s main page.
  • Services Page: Your business’s services / products.
  • About Page: Who you are and your story.
  • Contact Page: HOw people can reach you.

Basic SEO

I’ll set up your site with basic SEO to help it show up better in search engines. This means some basic keyword use and meta tags.

Responsive Design

Your website will look good and work well on both phones and computers.

What’s Not Included

  • Custom Features: This doesn’t cover fancy stuff like e-commerce or advanced customizations.
  • In-Depth SEO: The SEO work will be basic. If you need more advanced SEO strategies, that will be extra.
  • Extra Pages: Any additional pages or special features beyond the four standard ones will be available at an extra cost.

It has to work for both of us

This offer is about giving you a strong online presence with the essentials. If you’re looking for something more advanced, we can chat about other options and costs.

What I need from you

To build your website, I’ll need the following:

  • Business Name
  • Address & Contact Information
  • Logo
  • Photos, Content and Text (such as descriptions of your products or services, company history, and any other relevant information)
  • Brand guidelines if you have any (like font and color preferences)
  • Domain Name: You’ll need to purchase this yourself once you’ve been selected.

What Happens After the First Year?

After the complimentary one-year hosting period, these are your options:

  • Your Website: The website is yours, and you’re NOT LOCKED INTO any further commitment with me. If you choose to move to another host or provider, I’ll help make the transition as smooth as possible.
  • Continuing with Me: If you prefer to stay with me, I offer support and maintenance packages to keep your website running smoothly.

How This Works

To ensure I can build a nice website for you, I’ll need the following from you 

  • Fill Out the Form: Share details about your business and why you need a website.
  • Wait for Selection: I’ll review all applications and select one business.
  • Get Your Free Website: If selected, I’ll build and host your website for free for one year
  • Work Remotely: We’ll manage the entire project online through email and virtual meetings.
  • Promotion and Marketing: As part of this giveaway, I’ll feature the website and its development process on my website, social media, and marketing materials to showcase the work. By participating, you agree to allow us to highlight your new website as part of my promotional efforts.
